Verhaert New Products and Services NV


Verhaert is active in many technology development programs. These advanced projects led to innovative hardware, software and devices. Our product development expertise with respect to the Itrack 3D inertial measurement unit, combines proprietary technology to provide clients rapid introduction of new products based on this framework. We make customized systems based on this Itrack technology for major companies in Europe: Renault, LMS, Tenneco Automotive, Melexis, Vectronix AG, … Verhaert develops novel products with the Itrack technology in the following fields: Active safety & motion technology; Cockpit Design & analysis; Intelligent Transport Systems & Telematics; Human Pedestrian Navigation; Virtual reality; Gait analysis.


Rudy Van Raemdonck earned his degree in Industrial Engineer in Electronics, graduated 1987. From 1988 until 1998 he was with Manasco (Etex group) as Automation engineer (PLC - Siemens/Omron/Allen-Bradley, supervision - Wizon, batch control system, plant start-up). From 1998 to 1999 he was with Electromatic as Hardware designer (time registration terminal) + Software engineer (C on 80186 embedded platform). In 1999 he joined Verhaert as Electronic system engineer (projects: Biolab, Septentrio, Cosma). From 2000 to 2001 he was a Project manager for Applied Technologies (projects: Alert, Cosma). From 2002 on he is the Head of Electronic & Software Engineering at Verhaert.
